Green Electric Volkswagen Citizen Car For Future

Over the past 70 years, Volkswagen has conquered the world with its iconic cars like the Beetle, Volkswagen Bus T1, the Golf and New Beetle. The Russian magazine “Avtopanorama” and the Volkswagen Design Center Potsdam is holding a competition to define the contours of the Volkswagen in the 21st century. The VW Citizen Tarelkin designed by Denis A. is a concept car designed specifically for cities that seek to rid some of the drawbacks encountered in urban settings such as congestion, pollution and noise.

The car is equipped with electric motors designed to operate with a hybrid propulsion system, batteries and fuel cells. The small wheels hidden underneath the vehicle aerodynamic shapes are able to rotate 180 degrees to facilitate the operations of the driver.
